I am a gender equality activist, writer, speaker, and an accomplished marketing leader and consultant. As a brand and communications strategist, coach, and mentor, I bring a multifaceted approach to my work.

With over two decades of experience in marketing and business, my expertise is supported by academic qualifications in marketing, leadership, management, and coaching. As a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, I am recognised as a leader in my field, with extensive senior strategic experience.

I have worked with SME founders, senior management teams, and boards of directors across a range of sectors, including technology, charities and not-for-profits, and FMCG. I have particular expertise in the arts and the beer industry.

As a passionate feminist and advocate for equality, I actively promote the increased representation of women on boards and the inclusion of marketing expertise at the board level. My activism focuses on women’s representation and leadership, particularly in the male-dominated beer industry. In recognition of my work raising the profile of women in beer, I was awarded a Fellowship by the Royal Society of Arts (RSA).

In 2017, I founded Women On Tap CIC, a beer equality social enterprise, and created WOTFEST, a festival celebrating women in beer and addressing sexism within the industry.

I am also a member of the British Guild of Beer Writers (BGBW) and won the BGBW Best Beer Writer, Regional Media Silver Award in 2021. In 2023, I was elected as a Director of the Guild.

Based in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, I work across the UK and internationally.
